forgive my sceptesism, but he appeared to be taking a photo of nothing??? the only focus is the apparant 'ghost' which obviously unless a hoax would not have been there before he took the photo.

Pretty easy to do, set a long exposure, take photo, walk in front, stop, walk back.

Do you mean like when you see the photos of cars at night with the lights stretched out over a large distance? My uncle told me that was done through using a long exposure I think.

It's a 6 sec exposure, it's just someone that has released the shutter, dashed into the picture and then fked off.

It's ok chaps, mystery solved!

yep, that's it basically, except with light painting, you run around with sparklers, torches or lasers and make shapes you want
