Right, I've finally bloody had enough!
Forget banning beggars and fare dodgers on the tube. What t
t hasn't banned fking pull along bags on the underground!
Yet again today some fking dimwit of a geezer is pulling one of the fking things along, almost sent me base over apex until I punted the fking thing down the platform and he looks at me like I have mugged him or something!
Just because it's got fking wheels doesn't mean you have to stop at the top of the bloody stairs, pull that poncy handle out and start walking again, does it!
I mean, for gods sake, you can't see them, they are two foor square and can't possbily be full of lead or gold so you can't lift it!!! If you've got one, pick it up and carry it you fking nancys!!!
And don't get me started on pushchairs at rushhour. And then this afternoon some inconsiderate bd jumps in front of othe Central Line at Oxford Circus! I mean....WTF...does it have to be on a Friday!! Aaaarrrggghhhh!!

Have to agree on the st trolley/case things. My bugbear being their use in airports. Every cretin in a badly fitting suit seems to think they have to have one, and have no regard for tripping everyone else up. They obviously are not carrying a heavy load so why not just have a standard shoulder bag. Some are taken to the plane as "hand luggage" but then have to be left at the steps because they won't fit in an overhead locker, how can that be hand luggage?

Oh I didn't punt it on purpose, that would be rude. Just happened to catch it right and it weighed about 2lbs.....result, off it goes down the platform!but agreed they are a nuisance!

A nuisance yes, but not as much as people who don't understand the basic concept of a pull-along, and use it as a push-along. This (mostly female) group can be seen with a wildly swerving case out front, pausing every twenty metres or so as the case topples or twists their wrist.

The problem when they are being pulledis that you just don't see tehm. In the rush hour we are all walking different ways and you pop between two people only to find the gaps full of pull along round your ankles!

I travel an awful lot with work, and cannot think of a single reason that I'd choose a shoulder bag over a wheely bag?! Not only does it carry your clothes, it carrys your laptop on it too. Perfect.
Ok yes, people trying to get them on planes as hand luggage irk me, but the leaving them at the plane entrance is well recognised and a superb way of quickly getting your luggage on hop on/hop off flights.

Blissfully there were none today. I give them a right old dig though when they do. It's pushchairs that are worse at the moment as far as I can see. Normally with a snotty brat in them disolving a bag of monster munch pushed by some 16 year old chavvy slag! Oh no.....it's coming back......breath....
I agree with this in a way. Its the people who use these kinds of bags to carry the bare minimum of luggage (e.g. toothbrush, tshirt and a pair of jeans), as it would be easier to take a small backpack. But if you do have a lot of luggage or are travelling somewhere for an extended period of time, then surely these bags serve their purpose. I for one don't want to spend the morning walking around the tube network carrying a fairly heavy suitcase or cramming everything into a bag too small for all of my luggage.
The main issue here is more of everyone in London being in a hurry and not watching where they're going. But then not coming from or living in London, i notice this more. People on the tubes/public transport in general in London rarely have any patience with anyone else, as everyone wants to get to where they're going as quickly as possible. Its a bag with wheels. They're normally dark in colour and are pulled relatively close to the person pulling it. If not, then the person pulling is either extremely lazy or just doesn't understand the 'art' of pulling a suitcase with wheels!
