Why does MSN Scaremonger over MMGW s So Much?

They are regularly doing so. Take a look at the latest interactive map from MSN that shows what effect sea level rises of up to 84 metres would have! 84 metres FFS! Absolutely stupid.

but if we were hit by a giant ball of ice then we could be destroyed and flooded at the same time, plus the heat generated would melt all the penguins and cause the thames barrier to fail which would soak all the MPs and make the pound weaken against the Baht and then the global economic world would capsise and then al gore would be right but for the wrong reasons so he would have to do another film and that would burn more co2 but that would be co4 because he did it twice.

Why is change bad ?
Why is it taken that we as a species are at the top of our game and it MUST stay like this forever ?
Stagnate and die fellow creatures, change is good, even a bad change strengthens the remaining animals by natural selection.
If i lived at sea level I would move if I thought the sea was getting close, i would not wait until it was in my front room and then feebly drown like it was a surprise.
really, I would notice if it got wet underfoot.
Bring it on. lets see who adapts, there are way too many humans for the planet anyway and we cannot seem to have a proper war anymore.

But even so the rise will be slow, decades rather than weeks, I live on a hill, I like it on a hill, you dont get flooded when the rain is heavy. I bought a house on a hill on purpose.If i move, guess what, It will be to another hill.
I stand a better chance of not getting wet feet due to planning, long term planning. If people are really worried about this MMGW rubbish then they should start planning.
I keep lights and a generator too, we have an alternate method of heatng the house and for cooking, we keep emergency food. I like to be prepared.

Depends how much ice there is minus how much is allready in the sea.
