So we are coming up to the wonderful time of Halloween, what are you guys doing and what are you dressing up as?
I usually just write some swear words on a white T-shirt and go down the pub, but I might do something special this year.
How about you?

Hmmmm, I don't go out anymore, now 16, stopped trick or treating at about 10 at the latest. But to be honest, no one in my area seems to go out anymore. We get the occasional knock on the door but we actually just switch the lights off and don't answer the door. It's just not something my family is interested in.

Mine neither, I was going more along the lines of going out for a party in stupid costumes as opposed to going around peoples doors, I stopped doing that a loooooong time ago!

Going as a zombie for the school disco, and the wee man is going as a mummy/zombie thing.

And might go knocking on some family doors Saturday.

Hahaha, with this past year's beer and Beef intake, I'm afraid it's starting to get that way..

You raise a good point. I'd be much more inclined to give to beggars if they put some effort into their begging. Something like Google, where they change their logo for events that have happened on a particular day.

Probably the same amount as foglights, christmas ads early, etc.

Not something that interests me TBH.

Up until 2 years ago I lived in flats so could ignore the buzzer. 2 years ago I think we had 1 or 2 but I was out and Mrs.NCoT dealt with them (little kids with parents, just bought some cheap chocs). Last year we had no callers but it might have had something to do with me getting grumpy with the car on the drive and swearing a lot - several parties of kids did the houses both sides and missed ours out! hehe

Have bought some cheap chocs again and will distribute if we get any (sensibly aged) callers, hoping for a quiet one.

What do people do if they get the teenage chav brigade coming round? Don't fancy getting the car/house egged so might just give them something...

Hahahahaha! You, sir, owe me a pair of trousers!
I usually tell everyone to fk off, unless it's parents and children and then I just give them whatever I can find lying around that I don't like. I think I gave someone a Tesco prawn sandwich once!
