why do these business types have to call meetings about the same thing every fking day for the whole week?

I've been doing this job for just over two years ffs, i know it may come as a surprise but i know what i'm doing and pretty much single handedly organized the operations for last years events.

Monday i avoided a meeting, Tuesday we had a meeting, today we had a catch up meeting on the day yesterday now we are having another catch up meeting on the catch up meeting on Friday wtf?

I always end up making the coffee. and you should see how quickly a crowd gathers if an argument breaks out though!

Been asked everyday if my spangly all singing all dancing fix all deadlocks in the system code is ready to be shipped...

Err no.... it hasnt been released to DEV to finish off real life scenario test yet due to Prod issues meaning no release on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday... that you arranged... every morning at 9:30am and then you ask me at 11am for an update....

What do you think...... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhh??

They call meetings to arrange the timetables for the meetings at our place...

Something that could be said in 10 seconds while passing my desk usually ends up being a 20 minute meeting of babbling on about totally irrelevant stuff, usually when I am actually quite busy and have important things to do...

You should try working in the defence industry. "They" will often have a pre-meeting meeting to run the idea up the flagpole to determine whether it's worth saluting. They will then have the "meeting" and the follow that "meeting" with a post-meeting meeting to discuss the issues that no one was allowed to talk about in the "meeting"#
