FFS. When your luck is out, it's really out
Discussion
Just for all the kind folk that have been keeping up with my mishaps recently:
The eye is starting to hurt (a lot) and as the drs said, I'm getting headaches and dizzy spells- the vision sort of blurrs really quickly, then I go dizzy.
I had a huge headache earlier, went upstairs to lie down, had a dizzy spell.
Fell down the lovely wooden dogleg staircase, landed in a heap.
I have taken all the skin off my knacked ear again which really f
king hurts.
I also thought I heard a faint 'popping' sound
Ah, I have popped three knuckles out of their sockets.
You may now laugh as you see fit.

I wouldn't mind if I had had a few jars, but I have had about 7 pints since the burning.
It doesn't actually hurt too much (in comparison with recent events) but regular readers will no doubt be heartened to hear that todays injury wasn't on the hand that got burnt.
It was the one that got crushed when I got run over some years ago!

It's a hint.
A hint that you should take it easy and let your body recover - don't be fooled into thinking you can do everything right away. Sure, the accident was a while ago, but it's not just the observable symptoms that need to be considered.

This is good advice. Of course, we hope you get well soon but the main point is that you get well. Take it easy.Project 644 said:

Good luck with your future accidents.

Emsman, sorry to hear that. Hope it all heals soon/stops hurting.
Anyone on PH involved in TV production?
..or maybe 'Some Mothers Have Emsman?'
Stuart, ffs take it easy will ye?
Your body has went through a LOT of trauma recently, and is continuing to do so.
Ergo, while you mentally feel able, your body is clearly not up to the job. I've been there, had a major operation involving organs being shuffled about, ribs cut etc, and I was desperate to get out and do stuff because I felt mentally ok but in reality, while the body IS rather good at recovering, it still needs a bit of time and peace to do so.
