Christmas lights on already

Just listening to the radio,and it just said London's christmas lights getting switched on already,it'early november FFS,every year it's getting earlier.

Whoever's in charge of those slackers at London HQ needs to have a word with the man who lives above the chippy just down my road. He has had his tree up all year with multicoloured lights proudly shining out through the window. He could teach them a thing or two.

My tree goes up 2 weeks before,then comes down a couple of days after new years day.

A pub I pass on the way home has put up their XMAS lights and have them blazing when I pass in the evening. I hope someone burns the place to a cinder at some point...

Got my first Christmas card this year about 2 weeks ago. Someone told my uncle there were postal strikes so he decided to send them all out early just to be sure. Bless him.

It's November for goodness sake, not August! The only thing that gets earlier each year is the people whining about it. Look outside, it is dark at 4:30pm, wet, dreary, horrible. The place needs something to cheer things up!
