Poppy Faux pas?

Ok, so naturally I want to wear a poppy, as what is stands for, now more than ever, is important to me!

However I dont wear a jacket to work...

what is the general conesnsus... is wearing a poppy pinned to a shirt pocket a no no?

Does the fashionableness really matter? you are wearing the poppy to shpw respect and if all you can wear it on is your shirt so be it.
