Platform in the Thames - Canary Wharf

There seems to be what looks like an oil platform in the Thames near Canary Wharf does anyone know what it is ???

Its Gordon looking for UKs own oil fields beneath london in hope that it will help him out of this mess.... only costing us £1million a day to do so

If so it's a "jack up barge", we had one just up the river for a while, and I've noticed it sat between Blackfriars Bridge and Waterloo bridge for a while now. I didn't notice it this morning so I guess it's the same one (red?).

Useful for doing a whole range of survey work on the river bed and structures etc.
