Had some weird and far too vivid dreams this morning

I don't normally dream, or if I do, I rarely remember them.
This morning after the alarm went off, I got up made a cuppa and then got back into bed to watch a bit of Sky News. I dosed off and then had a number of quite surreal, vivid and one disturbing dream.
First was me, at the age of 40, rejoing the Army as a Private again. All my old mates that had stayed in where either senior NCOs or commisioned. I had to go through all the same suff I went through over 20yrs ago. Very vivid and actually quite enjoyable.
Next dream was me moving into some student digs and having a small area to live in. The room was then full of men and women dressed up in theatrical clothes and made up for the stage, they then proceeded to debate the wrongs and rights about nurses having to be educated to degree level while I was trying to work out where to put all my stuff - all the stuff I have in my house here in Dubai!
So - the first two dreams are obviously me taking in the news reports on the telly about the Armed Forces and the Nurses thing and it coming through in my dreams.
So the next and last one was not very nice. I was sitting in an cinema, just me, in complete darkness then an extremely graphic film came on. The subject was the woman that had her face ripped off by a chimp. So, I sat though the phonecall that was made, except I had very clear, very vivid and very sick images of a woman having her face ripped off to go along with the audio. Worse than any horror film I;ve ever seen and worse than any injuries I saw serving in the Army.
Then I woke up.
I can still now see all of the dreams as clear as day - that doesn't happen very often.
Wish I'd stuck on a porn film instead

Are you on antidepressants? They can give you some really horrid and vivid dreams that are so lifelike you aren't sure if they happened or not.

k they are no longer part of my life!
Nope - all normal. I didn't have agood night's sleep I must admit - tried to go to bed around 11-ish and probably didn't drop off until after 2am - read a bit etc...Thank f

Didn't eat too late, no booze so all should have been fine.
