Just has a Google alert of my company name appearing on a web site. Turns out it is a picture within a Powerpoint presentation placed onine and the link is the fact they have snatched a picture from my site to put into their presentation but the picture retains the source link back to our web site.
You would have thought they would at least have saved it and changed the file name so the source couldn't be seen!
So, Ok to sntach other people's images or should you stump up for a photo library web site (probably not the best place to ask given the Numbers game thread running!) or ask permission?

ETA ^^^ that. I'm a slow typer.
I have heard tales of people replacing their original picture on the website with a new version (so a new link but your website appears to be unchanged to the casual observer) and repointing the old link to something less than tasteful... not very efficient, but potentially entertaining
