Xmas decorations up already!

Driving along the road tonight and couldn't help but notice a house has got its xmas decorations up, surely its a bit early for that!
It wasn't as if it was some super dooper set up, just a light up santa mounted on the house with some rope light and a tree!
Anyone else spotted crimbo stuff up!

Spare me a thought guys.... I live around the corner form this guy - he's been putting them up for the last month - i mean, an industrial power supply!!!

Sainsbury's Christmas decorations are the worst tacky metal foil ones Ive seen. Positively disgusting. Think I might shop somewhere else because of them. And I work in Sainsbury's.

I enjoy Christmas for the time I spend with my family and the eating, drinking and being merry etc, but I really do hate the concept of Christmas a little more every year.
I really detest the fact that every single person is reminded about it from the beginning of September onwards. I walked through Woking town centre yesterday, only to be met by their usual bloody great Christmas tree, already in its place and it was only November 18th.
I get so sick of the fking Argos ads and every other one being somehow Christmas related in October and November. Yes, i know there is/has been a recession and businesses want to make money and promote their deals etc, but Christmas is no longer a happy time that I look forward to. By the time I actually finish work and get a few days off to be with the family and enjoy lots of food and alcohol, i'm fed up with the whole gimmick that Christmas seems to have become in this country.
Until I can move somewhere remote, that has snow (at Christmas, not in February or March like the UK's freak weather), i'll just have to put up with the constant reminders that slowly kill off any excitement I have about Christmas by the time it actually arrives. I'm no humbug, I'm just sick of the commercialisation of what can be a great public holiday and a good reason to celebrate.

Ah - one of the great constants of this universe - threads complaining that "Christmas decorations are up too early". In reality are they - I can remember the odd house with its decorations up mid november ever since I was a kid (i'm mid 30's now).
Oh well.

I cant recall from the bible the passage that states "thou shalt not leave tinsel and baubles hanging beyond the 12th day"
The thing about traditions is - they can evolve.
Mid Nov may be a bit early - but mine are going up on the 1st Dec
