Name our new bitch.

After looking for a while my other half has found a suitable 9 month old King Charles Spaniel bh to adopt. At the moment she's called Katie, which we both think is a bit too human like and also the name of one my other half's best mates.

Ideally we'd like to change her name to something a little more dog like or unusual whilst still sounding similar to Katie so not to confuse her.

I'm turning to my fellow PHer's to help come up with some suggestions.

We had a very similar problem when my parents brought a Pointer/Welsh Spaniel cross home for me because I really wanted a dog when I was around 15. His name was "Morph", which we all agreed was ridiculous and soon changed it to "Monty", close enough to be recognisable and not confuse the poor hound. It worked.




Haven't got a fking clue what you'd change "Katie" to though, sorry.

How about "Katie The Dog"? Then if the other Katie comes around, call her "Katie The Human", that way you can avoid any embarassing confusion.
