I am feeling quite refective tonight, just need to unload some BLAH...

Been married a few years now, mostly very happy.

Have a lovely house in the best village in the area, nice cars, good jobs but i cant help giving into any sort of temptation.

drink, nights out, girls, in fact pretty much everything.

I feel like im spiralling out of control.
Some parts i feel guilty for but other parts make me feel alive again.

I really need to grow up but i just cant.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Where is this boat moored that you speak of!

Seriously though, how old are you?
If you are 30+ you're in big trouble any less than that don't worry about it.

Have fun, but remember the difference between fore and aft. If you know what I mean

If you haven't got your boozing and whoring out of the way, then why get married?

Cant really say much to be honest, at times i get bored of my life too, i take risks to make myself feel alive. I must say though, I dont have much to lose.

Try adding a bit of fun into your life at home, rather than risking what you've already got.

All of those are fine bar the girls. Not providing full disclosure on the others is a male ritual. But the girls.... Different question.

I still wander as far as getting phone numbers and a little banter / flirt to keep my skills sharp... But it stops there and ha done for six years despite some rocky times.

I may be wrong, but I've always thought that this kind of behaviour is caused by a deep seated insecurity - they try to boost their self esteem by constantly proving to themselves that they're still attractive and wanted. Very sad.

I am in the boat next to yours, OP.
I am not 30 yet and I don't seem to be exhibiting your kind of remorse.
Frankly, I was under the impression that all blokes are that way to a certain extent, some just don't do it, because the risk is too high.

That is true if you stay there. but if you just keep on hopping from one lawn to another, i think it maybe very very fun indeed!
