Note to self: must remember to get the fire extinguisher on standby during Christmas dinner. Forget drink driving, crackers have to be Public Enemy #1 at this time of year.

At Stansted this week I saw a notice saying you couldn't take them through security due to their "explosive" nature

No, crackers are a big threat, and we are in imminent danger. More people are killed by cracker-armed terrorists than AK47s.

Probably.

Well, to be fair, crackers are dangerous, I mean, hundreds of people choke to death on them annually...

Oh, wait, that's not right..................

Now more than ever we need to have a good war, not a new modern "fight from afar" war but a proper "over the top" "fix bayonets" type war with trenches and rats and dysentry.

That will soon put christmas crackers and "warning slippery floor" and "caution contents may be hot" signs into perspective.

Wooly-bd-nannying-protectionist-we know best-bds should be put on the front line to force them to get some perspective.

I like the way you artistically placed the boxes of crackers in the background of the sign.

No not little blue pills, those sodding things that you spend picking out of hair, drinks, food or anything else on its route...

I've tried.... but I can't think of any reason why anyone younger than 16 years old would buy crackers.
