Wilmslow Road Yesterday

I went to Wilmslow Road to have dinner yesterday, and there seemed to be police on horses, in cars, on foot, just police EVERYWHERE!!!

I also happened to note some rather dodgy looking youths driving up and down the street, I noticed one blue audi drive past the window of the restaurant I happened to be eating in FIVE TIMES, I also noticed a 5 series and another Audi a few times too.

If I had an RS4 the last place I would be driving it is Wilmslow road, that's full of traffic and police!

What a bunch of goons!

Yeah, it was pretty exciting. He was legging it down the street when a police car screeched to a halt outside, 2 bobbies dived out, one with a handgun and one with a taser and zapped him. He was then rather roughly spread across a car bonnet and searched/cuffed. Even the waiters were watching. I had to order an extra naan bread I was that excited.

Happens every Friday and Saturday night all year round. On special occasions, they'll also rent Ferrari F430s and spend the whole night cruising up and down the mile (presumably to make people think they actually own the car). Obviously big petrolheads, cruising up and down the same congested road at 5mph instead of heading out into the countryside...

Something to do with City playing at home prehaps? I know they are no longer at Maine road but there are sill a lot of fans out and about in the area after a match.
