Due to the high membership levels on here, has anyone ever ranted about a neighbour / traffic accident / company only to have the actual genuine neighbour / other party / other company come on, recognise and defend it?

Not on here but in a Football web site I get on there was some cross team banter that went a little awkward and let to fisty cuffs at a game that was talked about later.

It's happened several times AFAIK. There was a guy complaining about his other half, then she turned up. Someone was complaining about a track day, the organiser pitched in. And wasn't there something or other where everyone was having a go about some chav or other and his friends/mother/whoever registered specifically to be able to tell everyone off?

Wasn't there a post on here from someone slating an MR2 based 355 replica? Lots of pointing and laughing then the owner turned up and offered to meet in person. I forget now how it ended but was quite funny to read at the time

A lady PH'er was moaning about being cut up by some bloke in a green car with a PH smiley and Evo sticker on the back window. It was one of those "To the t**t in the green car who cut me up today" type of threads. iirc it was Lime green nutter who then appologised.

Not exactly a rant, but TimW posted a comment about a wker's driving on a European trip (from a posted video)

Turns out that wker was me and then, very nicely ( ) everyone pitched in saying the driving was quite ok and they'd all happily let me drive their cars .

Think there might have been more than 1 then. The one I'm thinking of had restored some supercar or summat too. Hmmmmm work brain, work ....
