Recession my fking foot.

People were practically clambering over each other in Argos to get to the collection desk. I’ve never see so many fat fking slags weighed down with carrier bags whilst trying to control about 8 pushchairs. Pardon me Madam, perhaps you could learn to walk in a fking straight line before filling the planet with your defective fking offspring? Yes Madam, you carry on, just blunder into my path and then look at me as if I’ve just tried to take a st in your handbag, you fking moron.

I lasted about thirty seconds in Robert Dyas, I left before I cut someone’s throat with a fking potato peeler. There’s nothing I like more then being jostled out of the way by inbred aholes desperately grappling for any old crock of sh*te to give granny whilst be fking deafened by Cliff fking Richard singing about logs on the fking fire.

The 99p shop looked fking grim.

Finally, what is with all this hysteria about global warming? It’s December, it’s about 4 degrees and every fking shop has the heating on full blast and doors wide open! So you’ve removed your plastic bags from the checkouts have you? How about shutting the fking doors and making a REAL difference, rather than a publicity exercise to gain the favour with the lentil eating soap dodgers whilst saving yourselves pots of cash all in the name of environmentalism!

Thank Elvis* for Internet shopping.

Argos, Robert Dyas and the 99p shop?

And you're surprised that you haven't had a fulfilling retail experience?

Should have rounded off the day with a Greggs mystery slice, 10 pints for a fiver in the local Wetherspoons before having a fight in the kebab shop.

Consider where you've been shopping.

It's your own fault.

I ought to point out Robert Dyas was the only shop I went in, and that was to get a spice rack. The state of Argos and the 99p shop was easily observed from the pavement.

Who's Robert Dyas?

Is he that boss-eyed drunk I see outside Waitrose with his three-legged dog and the Jack Russell?

A 99p shop does sound grim. I use Poundland. Its way more upmarket smile

I simply cannot fathom why anybody would leave their house to do the shopping on the high street? It takes ages, it's full of other people (and as we all know, other people suck) and it is more expensive.

The only reason to visit the shops in person, is for food shopping and clothes shopping. That's it.

Same here, all my shopping has been done online. Usually its cheaper online, in the majority of cases, its delivered free as well, and the best part about it is, I can sit in bed, or infront of the tv, and do my shopping in comfort, with a cuppa, without barging through the crowds and crowds of people!

Hmmm this is quite strange.

'Mr Angry' was a poster on www.bodybuilding.com in the misc. section over the past few years, posting made up stories very similar to this. He used a picture he found of someone on the internet and he soon became a massive hit on the forums because of his aggresive stories about fighting etc.... until the chap whose picture it was found out he was using it and threatened to sue him.

How weird that I look on here and see this, maybe someone should go on the miscellaneous section of bodybuilding.com and see if this story happens to be there smile

I did The Mall near Bristol the other week and had the misfortune to hit it at the 6 weeks mark. EVERYWHERE was full - even John Lewis. It ain't just the cheaper shops....

Which makes me think what is going on. Yes, I totally believe that for many people, its been a tough 18 months. Plenty of people have lost their jobs too, but where is all of this money coming from? Average earnings are down, but what is going on? I don't get it.
