Hi All,

I'm after some idea's of what to get the OH, I have a budget left of no more than £150-200. We have pretty much killed the weekends away in hotels etc so I'm after something more original, any ideas?

I got my GF an electric blanket, a sat nav and some "thermal" slippers.

She's always moaning about cold feet and the fact I refuse to put the heating on.

She's already been given the electric blanket and slippers and loved them, see some girls do like practical things.

Frying pan or a new hoover.

There are some quite nice things on this site

http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/ stuff that I've not seen before.

I found this from the Time website, their recent guide to presents for women can be found on their site: http://women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/...

Mines getting an handbag, Bracelet (some charm thing from links) and a new Ipod to replace her knackered old one.

Just do what I do walk into a decent shop ask one of the pretty assistants "If I was going to buy you a gift from here what would you like" Always got a good result for me.

Mine is the same I got her a Selk Bag last year...

I think it's a good idea to split your budget, something practical, and something sparkly / romantic.

Getting her to open saucy undies infront of her Dad always makes me smile too, half the joy is in giving!

Mine is on the phone right now booking herself on a pre-Christmas driver training day. Not sure how I'm going to wrap it, mind.

Get her some oven gloves & an apron, its an extra layer for when its cold, you can turn the heating off then and save money for a new car.
& it will encourage her to do some more cooking.

Give her an apostrophe, it looks like you've got plenty to go around.

A female friend/neighbour got em to build and run the vegetable garden, whilst avoiding doing any of the work. So she will be receiving two presents:
  • A book called "Potato: The Definitive Guide"
  • "No. 37: The King Edward"
