Xmas LED solar power lights

[IceBoy]

Hello All,

My two boys want lights outside the house for Christmas, the Tree and decoration is not enough !

So my question:

There are 000's of solar power LED (fairy lights) on ebay for outside use. The cost about £15 are 11m long and have a solar charger unit thingy attached.

DO they work and will they last for more the 1 hours when switched on ?

My solar lights in the garden aren't working at the moment as the weather is to dull to charger them (or they are broken? )

No.

If youre going with LEDs, just buy some that work off mains power. They use so little power, you might aswell. And fit a timer to them. Job done.
