Repost or not, it's a firs timer for me.
I do empathise with the poor fella, great story such a shame he took his own life, especially as no one was hurt. It certainly would be one to tell his Grand-kids and he'd definitely got work as a guest speaker.
Good post and a great You tube linky added

Yes, man effectively makes composite tank armor with metal and concrete, adds guns and cameras.
I do feel his biggest flaw with creating all that was the radiator not being protected, he thought of everything but protecting the radiator.
Swats methods were good
Walk down the street firing shots at it
Walk down the street firing bigger shots at it
Walk down the street, then stick satchel charges on it
Walk down the street, then get in earth movers and commence battle
Phone up army base over the hill to bring in anti tank weaponry.
Sad they broke it up into bits and sent it all over the USA to scrap it, I would of put it in the Smithsonian, a work of art and genius imho, regardless of what it was used for, IIRC took the police like 2 days or several hours to get into it.
Also can I point out to some people and it might be worth putting in the first post, although I haven't seen the videos posted, I assume it has the bit where he goes into the hardware store and thats when his engine gives up, might be worth pointing out that you can hear him shoot himself, some might not want to hear that
He was An hero

Apparently they were about to call in an Apache to hit it with Hellfires before the engine died - no doubt that would have taken half the town out as well!Walk down the street firing shots at it

Indeed like the suicide laptop and the deliverance software that's on display in the science museum it would have been an excellent talking pointGassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
