A special Swindon exhibition will also run next year at Disney's Epcot theme park, although it is not known what the display will contain.

I bet the good people of Florida can't wait to come visit the delightful housing estates of Park South, Walcot, Penhill and Pinehurst and to take advantage of all the excellent local amenities, shopping facilities, fast food outlets and discount booze shops these pleasant estates have to offfer.

Already have that, it's called "South Orlando".

Small world, eh? (did you see what I did there?)

hehe

Needless to say, I won't be enjoying that in January!

Before I forget Ernest, I need to find a series of good roads (and quiet!) roads around Orlando. We'll be hiring a Camaro SS and I want to see what it's made of. Any suggestions?

You get mugged for all your worldly possessions
You can take a trip on a magic roundabout
You will come back wishing you never went
Full of mice and other vermin

The only difference between the two places is that in Orlando/Americaland you might get stabbed, in Swindon you will probably get stabbed.
hehe

Get out of Orange (Orlando) County. Travel northwest into Lake County. You want the Mount Dora area. Best driving roads in the State IMHO. Stop at the Yalaha Bakery in Lake County outside of Mount Dora. It's a well known driver's destination and you may get a look at a few unique vehicles depending on what's going on that weekend. Alex Job has their facilities there. towit:

Nobody will try to stab you in Orlando. That's absolutely not true.
They're too afraid you might shoot themhehe

Seriously, As long as you stick to the main touristy areas you are fairly safe. Just try not to look like a tourist. There are a few places in west Orlando (West Colonial Drive area) and of course the infamous South Orange Blossom Trail area (they have actually put up signs to remind tourists that prostitution is indeed illegal in Florida - nice - my tax dollars at work) that I would recommend to stay clear of. Other than that, enjoy the hospitality!

I'm strongly in favour of flattening Swindon's dump of a town centre and building a theme park in its place.
