Got a fair few to dinner this year, mrs emsman has insisted on doing secret santa as it will be "fun".

I remain wholly unconvinced, and cant think about what to get.

£10 limit, novelty or otherwise.

Anyone had to run through the utter charade that is secret santa and is able to spare me using my limited brain power to think of something?

Merry christmas

Secret Santa, only works if you know the people so you buy them someone appropriate. Woman in office, has two kids, really didn't want anymore. Is now pregnant again. So her secret santa at the office do is a box of condoms.
Worked with a salesman that everyone hated, so his secret santa was a book entitled "How to win Friends and Influence People".

They are coming for christmas dinner ffs, not an orgy.

Anyone suggest anything non-sexual- dont think my dear old mum would relish opening a gimp mask at the dinner table.

Or a dildo before someone chimes in

lol yes I have a few ideas; I've had to get a few this year and I've gone for imaginative wrapping..... and as they are for people on here I can't say!

Do I get the 2009 award for the "most pointless post" !?

I got my director once.

Late 30's, single, OK-ish if a little ballsy female.

£10 limit.

End up getting her Boss Woman fragrance, get it wink! 'kin blew the budget right out the water, but it was worth it.

She was well pleased and I got a little something extra for chrimbo that year wink

Can you not all give the gifts a theme....a colour or a letter. May make it slightly more fun

I blame mrs emsman.

£10, and has to be fun.

Bottle of cheap scotch? Pack of fags?

Im at a loss. Dont know where to start.

edited to add: 10 of us and 2 kids (luckily for them excluded!)

£100 to waste on some "fun" st that will never get used.

I suggested just not bothering and was told to....well, something i shant repeat here

Does this happen on 'the outside'?

I've led a sheltered life.
