Bizarre and tragic accident involving a chemist from Ukraine.

Regularly in the habit of chewing gum, which he would often dip in citric acid to make it taste a bit sour. Whilst working at his parents house, he accidentaly dipped his gum in another white crytalline powder, which happened to be an explosive.

He blew off his lower jaw and lower face and later died of his injuries.

don't eat in the lab...
