White Christmas?

Why people get so hung up a 'white xmas' is beyond me.
Traditionally, we did have a white Christmas, but that was during a cold period for a couple of hundred years, and Christmas back then was actually 'in the middle of January' as far as winter was concerned, and we usually have a bit of snow in the middle of January. The calender was changed in 1740 and it shifted 14 days, with December 25th now being a touch warmer than it was previously. So in our modern world, we tend not to get a white Christmas as we did in the old days.Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
