Jewellery or a weekend away is the obvious choice, but I'm looking for something a little more interesting. What do you folks do?

Canvas print of a photo taken on our trip to Paris last weekend. Expensive brownie points for me this year.

You really cannot beat labour saving devices. A new iron that does not leave brown water marks, or a hoover, so that the poor lamb no longer has to beat the rugs outside. These will please her no end and also give her more time to dedicate to your pleasures.

Very similar here.

It was her birthday a week back, she got a Chamilia braclet with a few charms. I got her a few of the locking bits that were "from" her daughter. So a few more charms have been bought and hidden inside the bag that she was lusting after.

I honestly do not even begin to understand her interest in them, either the charms or the bag, but its set me back a good few quid, and I just know that she's going to absolutely adore it.

Wondering what my sisters other half has bought for her though. Knowing her, she's more likely to want a decent macro lens, 2x tele converter, a few filters or something similar for her Alpha 350. She's definitely not a girly girl ....

A magnifying lens for her cross-stitch. It clips onto a frame and has a fluorescent tube built in to illuminate the work in hand. I was going for a Marcy one but they only go up to 60 Watts and I know she's being hankering after the Plexi 100 Watt with bifocal adjustment. Does your wife like cross stitch?
