Just opened my office window and there are a gang of workies laying tarmac.
The smell has filled the room, I may die but it smells great!!
What tickles your nostril?

My own farts obviously...

I also love the smell of my garage. The nice oily engine smells and the smell of Gunk etc.

The smell of fish & chips, especially with lots of salt and vinegar
Freshly cut grass
Cooked bacon
The smell outside after it's rained
Freshly baked bread - absolute heaven
Petrol

Always surprises me is how good that kebab smells when you pass the take away late at night a bit worse for wear

that smell you get from steam engines; of warm oil, steam and burning coals.
(when to Manchester Science and Industry Museum the other week, and my missus said the way my face lit up as we went into the 'power hall' with all the machinery running was a picture.)

The light perfume smell inside the display cabinet that i inherited from my grandmother. opening the door it still smells like like her house did - so it reminds me of the times spent there. (one of those smells sets off memory things)

I love the smell of napalm in the morning... The smell, you know that gasoline smell... Smells like, victory
