Got a few tickets to a Britains Got talent audition, some of my party are not sure if will be able to go so thinking of auctioning off online, they were free so will be giving all money with no deductions to the NSPCC- will it be worth the hassle though?

Plan is to make a page on my existing site allowing others to post their bid, highest bid by Xmas ve gets it, if they don't pay within allocated timeframe then offer to next and so on.

Terms would be to turn up at x time at the venue etc etc and usual copied of ITV's site etc.

But the problem is- what if some nutter buys it and does god knows what, or some legal issue I neglect somewhere and end up liable for god knows what! How can I cover myself

Should I bother or just give back for them to re-distribute/ offer rest to facebook 'friends' I hardly know/colleagues I work with 'professionally' :-)

Depends how much you're going to have to pay people to take them off your hands.

I'd be careful though - making people attend Britain's Got Talent may be banned by the Geneva Convention.

A lot of people I reckon will jump at the chance- whats not to like, laugh at 99% of the losers and admite the 1% with some talent. And many people dream of 'being on the telly' (not me, will be slouched low lol)

a) don't like ebay or paypal due to usual reasons
b) no way of screening nutters.

think may just go down fbook route or give back.

Thanks to the OH we spent a cold few hours last year queuing in Hammersmith to get in to BGT. But of course they hand out far more free tickets than they have seats for, so we did not get in and were turned away.

Not sure you can really auction something that is not guaranteed entry.

Didn't know that!, surely you could complain/claim back expenses incurred.

Will be there extra early.

I think it said in the small print something to the effect that entry was not guaranteed.

We got there an hour early and were about 50 back from when they shut the doors. So maybe another half an hour eariler on top would have been ok.
