No chance! This is a great time of year!... bit chilly when getting out of bed in the morning and an iced up car can be a pain, but other than that its great.

Yep.

Or alternatively move to somewhere nice and warm for a few months, then come back to the UK (or perhaps don't come back at all)

I love winter, crisp days, snowboarding, great landscape photo ops, cracking back country walks.

I would happily hibernate in the house and garden, getting out of work for 6 months smile

I'd rather go and live in Florida or somewhere for the winter months - hibernating seems a bit of a waste of your life. I do hate the cold, though!

What I would prefer to hibernation is to work very long days during the winter and then have the whole summer off work.

Think about it...

During the cold, dark months you're at work, therefore not running-up huge energy bills for yourself, and you're not missing-out on anything 'cause the weather's crap.

During the warm, sunny months you're free to play and being at home is cheaper 'cause you don't need heating and lighting like you do during winter.

If I could hibernate from March to October that would be nice. I quite like the idea of not getting sunburn, hayfever and eaten alive my midges every year. Give me the cold weather and longer hours of darkness (=shorter days when you work in the hills)any time biggrin

This is my invention ! I've long told my friends of my plan to make a hibernation drug so people can get tons of sleep and get refreshed in this mad busy world.

I reckon it would be just the remedy.
