Timpson Engraving Costs

Has anyone had any engraving done at Timpsons. Just looking for an idea of costs.

Slightly O/T, but something I've always wondered - when and why did the seemingly disparate trades of shoe repairs and key cutting become inextricably linked?

Use a local trophy shop. Mine charges around 12p a character plus a small set up charge.

I had a few trophies engraved a few weeks ago. It was £14.95 for the first word then i think £1.95 for every extra word!!

The moose, just ask around camp or failing that get one of the trades on camp in the workshops or something to do it, or are you all of for chrimbo early??? Who normally does the leaving gifts??

Timpsons is a rip off (imo)...They charge £12.95 to engrave a simple 50mm x 15mm plate I can do in gold or silver for £2.95, with unlimited letters in multi-fonts. (Discounts for quantity)....

i am not, i work offshore now earning some proper money. Was based at Waddington, wittering, coltishall, boscombe down did ten years had enough thet being good at my job was'nt enough left.
