Damn well is. wink

The central heating's FUBARed and the required parts won't arrive until Monday. Meanwhile it's -6 out there!

I don't feel the cold, but this is ridiculous.

I've just had to hit the boiler, its the only way to get it to turn on.

Its quite incredible how much colder it is up there, I'm only in Surbiton, and I'm sure its around 0c..

Wind chill as well.

This is one of the highest points in southern England and there's nothing to stop the north-east wind between here and Siberia.

However if you're anywhere near the Thames, that will channel it too. Joy. smile

Indeed, I can throw stones into the Thames from my window. That coupled with my condenstation issues, means this place is less than pleasant right now..

Yeh, we used to live near a high point in hants and it really hits hard when severe conditions arise.

The car today. The snow's a foot thick in places. Sod digging out the driveway, I'm going to wait until it melts:

hehe I haven't needed a hairdryer for years wink

Point is, that doesn't even come close to needing a shovel. You could drive out of that.

Only moan about the snow being too deep when you are able to build an igloo in the garden.

It's a foot thick in places. Discretion is the better part of valour here, I think.
