When I dont have a parcel that's when!

Just after a bit of advice. I ordered a watch that was supposed to be delivered by 1pm today. Yet at 5.30pm it still has not arrived. I checked the tracker and it said it was delivered. Yet I have been waiting in all day and my neighbours don't have it. More importantly no one has signed for it on the tracker. So where do I stand? Do I need to get my credit card firm involved for a disputed payment?

This is all I need to cap off the year!

I don't they would want to get involved at this early juncture.

Ring the courier and ask what is going on...

As Mike says, why not ring the carrier and ask who signed the form.....

Tried that. No signature available. That's what makes me a little more concerned than I would normally be. I'm not doing the leg work, i'll get the firm who sent it on the case. So I'll wait to see what comes out of that. As you were everybody!

I would call them again and ask if they could find out where the hell the driver has delivered it to.

Maybe they will update the status later as "back at the depot" because of the weather?

Dont fk about phoning the courier, that's not your job, that's for the place you bought the watch from to do.

If they say it's been delivered, you say "prove it", to which they will then say "sorry we cant, no signature available". If they dont send another by, lets be generous here, tuesday for delivery wednesday, then call you credit card company and get the payment reversed.

No point faffing about.

You have no contract with the couriers, just the vendor. However, you have paid the vendor for an item plus delivery: either they uphold their side of their contract with you or they don't!

TBH, I'm sure they will be pretty unhappy at the couriers' apparent failure to deliver and will take it up with them - especially if the item in question has gone walkies...

What did you buy?

Arrived!

Bought a tag heuer aquaracer. Very similar to a planet ocean, but without the need to go weight lifting before putting it on your wrist.

Substitute the word 'don't' with 'doubt' and it makes sense, it's not that difficult!

THis is going to become a fking boring forum if everyone rushes on to post about it when a delivery is a couple of hours late just before christmas.

THreads coming soon from the OP:

-Ive got crap on my arse after having a poo. What shall I do?
-When I try to drink milk it just runs through my hands when I pour it
-Why do shoes have those daft bits of string that trip you up when you tread on them?

I was thinking the same thing. Though perhaps not quite as in depth as you've gone.

I'm just amazed that someone expected an online tracking service to tell the truth. I worked for a company that designed them for six months or so, they are just hilariously useless.
