Good luck, I hope all goes well with your other half and yourself.

Let us know how it goes. Sleep may be a good idea, when my sister had her first baby a couple of years back, she was in abour for 22 hours, on the other hand it may be quick and be over before you know it!

Have fun!

Our first was born 53 minutes into New Years Day back in 2006. Quite weird hearing her slurp her way out to the sound of fireworks outside.

Good luck!

It's my son's 4th birthday on Boxing day, we were over the hospital late on Christmas day, I remember it well.

Fantastic news. Dont forget to tell her to "push" all the time. She'll like that...

So, A christmas baby! Will you go with a festive name? I'm thinking Noddy Tossbag, Roy Wood Tossbag, Cliff Tossbag or Bing Tossbag. Reemember its your decision, not ours so you can choose any from those 4

Good luck to you and your good lady and of course the inbound one.

When it gets dark, I'll keep my eye open for a bright star, follow it and come and see the three of you.

By the way, does your wife like myrrh?

Congratulations.

The baby isn't late, the nurse got her sums wrong.

Having the health visitors and midwives vist and going on trips to the clinc post natal is optional. They add nothing except worries then you have somehow "done something wrong". Just let the idiots see the little one a couple of times to damp down their frantic wails and relax and enjoy without them.
