Stumbled across this eBay listing with a pretty solid write up.

Are you man enough to buy a label-less N64 game from some guy on eBay?
As a side note does anyone remember that "Mystery Snow Car" that was up on eBay? Anyone know what it turned out to be?

That's a brilliant auction idea! I've just been reading through some of the bidder's questions that have been answered by the seller. My particular favourite is:

Q: How many times can I hit someone with this game til it breaks? Dec-20-09
A: At least 11 times.

I am firmly of the belief the bidders of ridiculous items like this never actual pay up.

Yes it was a Sierra 1.8LX as I correctly stated before the identity was "officially" revealed nerd

Q: If I have a monkey, and it dropped a honking crap on this game, would the game still be fun to play?

A: Yes, these cartridges are monkey-proof. laugh

Its blank SNES carts that you want to be buying!

Rumour has it there is a twin FX2 cart with an early experimental Mode7 version of Super Mario 64.

There have also been several other carts found in the past with early versions of games or abandoned projects. (Copies sent to magazines for previews.)

Having said that, a copy of '40 winks' for the 64 would be worth a few quid.

I found a good article last year about someone finding roms for an arcade machine at a flea market in the states. They turned out to be beta testing roms for a game that were thought lost, and that is now in the wild for the MAME community to use.

ETA it wasn't arcade, it was Atari 2600. http://blog.gism.net/?p=135
