The endless run up to Christmas is over. The presents have been opened, the dinner has been eaten, the Queen has been listened to.

That's it for another year!

I always find a bit of flat spot between about 7am and, err, bedtime.

But then I am a miserable tt.

Yes indeed.

Pull down the tree, tear down the decorations and burn the Christmas cards!

Thank heavens it's over. My hyper and over excited little ones have done my head in but a lovely dinner and a lot of red wine at the in-laws made up for it.

Now to get them to bed and clear up and watch a good DVD.

Is anyone else going outside with a few wines for a quick barbecue? Does anyone know if Calor gas still works at -5c?
Should I light newspapers around the canister to warm it up?

Asda had the audacity to be flogging boxes of ten cans of Draught Guinness for £7 each. I am currently half-way through the second box.

Flat spot my arse.

Meh, they're only 440ml cans, so it's not like they're full pints.

Besides, I'm still high on a Quality Street sugar rush.
