I've spent the last hour reading this maniac's brilliant outpourings.

Very well-written, brilliant humour. I would love to know what happened to him.

Absolutely brilliant, come back please. This guy is a star (and a bit of a literary genius).

I would imagine he was an alter ego of one of the regulars, who got rumbled.

Dr Raoul M. Fury said:
Thursday 10th May 2007 I was dropping dogst on pedestrians from the roof of the lab this morning when, during one of the increasingly infrequent breaks in his increasingly worrying research (he tickles badgers in the gonads then measures the size of their boners, and I don't even know why), Bobo, my auto-erotic research student, came up to join me and asked me why I shouldn't run for Prime Minister now that Tony Blair was stepping down. And you know what? I couldn't think of a single reason. So I put the dachsund back in the sack and decided there and then that it was my duty to throw my hat into the ring (it's a leopard-skin fez, though, so I want it back).

I and my Juju Party intend to campaign on a traditional pro-voodoo platform with emphasis on harpoon guns for pensioners, bongo economics, an extra month between May and June, a monkey on every street corner, rum, a sign saying "In Cod We Trust" over every fish and chip shop in Britain, and replacing the queen's image on banknotes with a picture of an owl and a speech bubble that says "O RLY?". Oh, and I'll probably come up with some crap about carbon footprints as well (such as a campaign to persuade coal miners to take their shoes off before coming indoors). It's populist policies such as these that place my politics in the perfect just-to-the-right-of-centre spot; so you can minge right off, UKIP!

Then I realised that if all goes to plan, in 2008 I could end up at White House meetings with Barack Obama. This would be super-groovy because his name makes him sound like a character from Star Wars*: "What do you think, Mr Prime Minister?" he'd say. "Set a course for Olduron," I'd reply. How the world's media would laugh and applaud! Except France, of course; they just wouldn't get it. But who needs them, eh? Who indeed.

So anyway, my slogan will be "Dr Fury Says Relax", or perhaps simply "Vote For Me, Idiot". I hope I can count on your support.

  • That's not racist, by the way; you can't be racist if you hate all races equally
this man had vision he knew Obama was going to win a year before?

All of which makes me wonder: why oh why does Anthony Worrall-Thompson continue to ignore my text messages? I'm a fellow chef, for goodness' sake! All I want is a simple cook-off, in an abandoned prison, Ready-Steady-Cook rules, to the death, and with Kofi Annan refereeing. But no, apparently he's "too busy", I'm "a delusional fantasist", and he's "going to involve the police if I continue to harrass him". Whatever; I'd like to see him turn two hundred kilos of pigeon eyelids and rat anuses into enough Turkey Twizzlers to service the entire Merseyside region for a year. So come on Worrall-Thompson – show some balls, you poisonous little dwarf.

CLASSIC!

His writings are not unsimilar from those of Rob Grant and Robert Rankin. But less so than Tom Holt. (This comes as little surprise since Robs and Roberts make better comedy writers than Toms.)
