Moral Dilema, Am I Racist?

Some people just boil my wee wee.
We've been hit with 6 inches of snow overnight and not a gritter or snow plough in sight. I can not recall such and even our local schools have closed.
So I went to the garage to get a packet of ciggies in my Landy. En route there were cars abandoned and people struggling to get onto the main roads. My old ex Army bus was in it's element and if it were not for a young mum with a couple of kids in tow wheel spinning whilst trying to get going I'd have just gone about my business and returned home to watch the cricket.
So seeing her plight I offered to drag her car onto the main road which she gratefully accepted and offered me a tenner as a thank you. I graciously declined and after a bit of banter suggested she donated a few quid to 'Help for Heros' a charity very close to my heart.
There were about half a dozen cars all struggling to get out of the garage so I went back to help tow out a few more and even dragged out the Tesco delivery truck....Then just as I went back to get another a voice shouts "Oi mate! me next" looking up I see a 'Gentleman' of Asian persuasion pointing to his 3 series BM shatbox "my turn next...ok ok"
Now this is where the fun begins, he asks "how much mate I'm in a hurry" to which I reply nothing mate, I'm just helping out, but If you want to donate a few quid to charity that's cool"
"Which Charity" he asks and I replied "help for heroes" "Not giving any of my fecking money to them" he snaps to which I stated in no uncertain terms "Drag you own fecking car out then"
I then helped another two cars onto the main road and left.
Should I have just towed him out or did I do the right thing? What sayeth the PH Massive?

Even without his "not giving my money to them" comment, I'd have left him there. "Me next"?! Cheeky sod. If he were in that much of a hurry, he'd have found a way out on his own. You were helping out because you were being a decent person, what on earth gives him the right to demand you help him at all? Let alone "next"?

i think that you did the right thing. It's not racist, it's just that he has the wrong attitude!
I would have been tempted to put the chain on to his front bumper, leave a lot of slack, and pull off giving it the beans. Seeing his face when you drive off with only his front bumper attached to the chain would be worth it!!
