Bloody 'elf n safety, one light dusting of snow and its "don't go anywhere unless its absolutely necessary". If we don't get out there and give it a try, we'll never improve our snow driving skills. Send me out in the Panda with a flask full of coffee and a massive shovel. And some hobnobs, for dunking.
We could just about manage years ago, when cars were much worse, so why now? I spend at least half of each year in Scotland these days, they never seem to have a problem; the locals just seem to get on with it.

I've been shocked by the number of people driving a 30 in residential areas with a thick layer of snow on the road as if its a clear mid smmer day. They all have that look of "I'd doing the speed limit so nothing can happen to me" look on their faces!HOGEPH said:
