Just thought i'd share this info with you lot.
Having a look at my statement for this month I noticed a certain company under the name of MHM*Money Mastery has taken a sum out of my account. Abbey were very good to get onto the case and are currently working on it. Seems as though I am not the only one as a fair few others have been had. Funny thing is, as much as I have been cautious, this American company has somehow managed to obtain my account details. The company has taken both pounds and dollars with international usage fees added on top.
Another company that states to deal with beauty products has managed to get my OH's details and have taken triple of what I was had for. However, this company is based in Cyprus apparently. But other info points to Viking Industrial Estate in Bedford.
Be careful chaps, there are some proper b
ds in this world. I hope they get caught and are forever anally penetrated in prison.

My debit card, which I do not use for purchases, only for withdrawing cash, has been used to buy something from Comet for 900pounds, Air Hungary for 600, Top Man 160, and someplace in Paris 12pounds.
It came to my attention when Comet phoned my home asking about delivery details, for something I hadn't bought.
Fortunately I am insured against this type of fraud but it still annoys the hell out of my that some lowlife b
d has been using my details to steal.
It also bothers me that I don't know how the details were obtained.

I know. This is my issue too. My bank were good to get onto the case though. My OH's CC company said they had seen scams like this before but still allowed it to go through! Eh?...

Funny, I would have thought more people would have been caught out with scams like this. Evidently not. Anyone else?
I was looking for a SH car on PH few weeks ago and emailed the advertiser of a 2003 Audi A3, car was in Norfolk. I got a reply saying the car was in italy, she had recently emigrated but no longer needed the car, all the documentation was complete, service History etc, car is in v.good nick, with 10mths MOT and TAX to go. I didnt reply, but got another email offerring to send the car back to the UK FOC providing I paid 50% in advance and the remainder on delivery, they knew a reliable courier firm, blah blah blah for my peace of mind.
A little too well organised me thinks, so I asked for the name of the last Audi Dealership in the UK to service the car, the license plate and a contact number.
I emailed again 7 days later, No Reply.
Lets be careful out there.
