Sometimes the Americans get it right

"Local and state police scoured the hills outside rural Johnstown, Pennsylvania, after reports of three animal rights activists going missing after attempting to protest the wearing of leather at a large motorcycle gang rally this weekend. Two others, previously reported missing, were discovered by fast food workers “duct taped inside several fast food restaurant dumpsters,” according to police officials.
“Something just went wrong,” said a still visibly shaken organizer of the protest. “Something just went horribly, horribly, wrong.”

Particularly liked this bit from the article:
"Still others claimed they were forced to eat hamburgers and hot dogs under duress. Those who resisted were allegedly held down while several bikers “farted on their heads.”
When confronted with the allegations of force-feeding the activists meat, using them as ad hoc latrines, leaving them incapacitated in fast food restaurant dumpsters, and ‘farting on their heads,’ the organizer declined to comment in detail. “That’s just our secret handshake,” assured the organizer.

No it didn't
Even the gayest tree hugger cannot possibly think he is going to be able to throw balloons filled with red dye over a Harley and its owner. To do it to a complete herd just makes one wonder what they were smoking.
I think they were very lucky, must have chanced upom some "part timers", could have been a lot worse (or better

I'm genuinely surprised that anyone actually thinks this is a real news report!
Are there people out there who read Newsarse and think it's genuine?
No but I am really hoping it is true. Mainly because I can imagine the tree huggers actually thinking that the bikers would be willing to listen to their point of view etc...Are there people out there who read Newsarse and think it's genuine?
