I've just found a bun in the kitchen which is well past the sell-by date - a bit of green mould on one side, but fine on the other. Do you reckon it's OK to eat, or should I hand it into the police?

If it isn't OK to eat, I'm thinking of setting up a webcam to record the ongoing decay of the bun as a sort of 'living work of art' - any suggestions as to the sort of Webcam.

Obviously, I'd be setting this up as a commercial concern - any advice on the tax aspects?

Part of me wants to eat it though - was out hooliganising Berkshire in the Yak this afternoon - formation flying and a snortingly good tailchase/airfield beat-up always makes me peckish.

You have a Yak 52 and Pitts. I am very envious. I think you should set up the webcam though.

I've just sold the Pitts share. Too many buns resulted in the most stressful part of flying it was getting in and out of the little bd. Yaks are built for the more lardy pilot - looking for a Yak-50 to replace the Pitts and to complement to 52.

However, what happened to MrBennet's gem of a thread?

Did you not hear the story of the guy who got life for not handing in a bread roll to the police?

I'm struggling with the rhyming synergy of "bread roll", compared to "bun".

Now, had you said "semi-automatic ciabatta", I might have a clue as to what you're alluding to.

Is this a current bun or one ten years old that someone has taken a hacksaw to?

I can't beleive someone would go onto the internet and admit to finding a bun and not hand it in to the appropriate authority.

Ridiculous!

The Big Al. "wink" smiley.

Possibly the most terrifying portent in the world, short of Blind Pew Couriers knocking on the door wanting a signature for a Black Spot they've been asked to deliver.

Trust you to rise to the occasion. Either way at least he hasn't leavened it for someone else to find else that would be the yeast of his worries.

Best hand it in to the police. One never knows, it might have been used in a currantcurrent robbery and best they have it before the case goes stale.
