With all the lawyers and accountants and such like on PH, surely the temptation is to keep the client's 'clock' ticking whilst browsing!

Fess up, who's done it, and with what sort of regularity

Everyone else has to promise not to shout at them wink

I post between billable time. I really couldn't bring myself to shaft the contract holders.

Fortunately our company has been hanging by a thread for over a year now so it gives me plenty of time to shoot the st.

....And no it's not my fault and no there is nothing I could do to be more productive.

What doofus said.

To be honest if you get any of the people you have mentioned in the OP admitting to that they aren't suitable for their job in the first place!!!

I have been guilty of letting a thread get the better of me and ended up having to put in hours at home/after hours that I would have had chilling but that is as bad as it gets and PH always comes second.

I post at work, but I think most do. I don't bill my time though, just salary. And there's fk all else to do.

I post at work, got a good seat in the office which means no one can see what I'm doing.

Similar here. I try not to post in anything where someone will expect me to comment again as they can run away with you. Anyway billable time always more than the amount needed so the firm is not losing out.

I charge by the day - if I come in, that's a days pay. How long I am in for and what I do, is a completely seperate matter.....
