Construction Dissertation.

I am currently doing an MSc in Construction Economics (exciting stuff) and in the process of starting my dissertation. I am however struggling a little with regards to my literature review. Coming from a QS background in private housing I am looking to do it on the economic downturn and its impact on the UK construction industry specifically the house building market. However with the subject being so current I am finding it difficult to identify suitable academic journals etc to base my lit review around. I had been advised that if there's really a lack of information, all the better, because research will be pioneering... I am finding this could be the case once I start on facts and figures of the effects however compiling a lit review is causing me grief.

Was hoping someone on here would perhaps have done similar or know of any use directions to point me in.
