Hi

Does anyone know what the word cojimos means? Tried all translation sites to no avail. Text is about giant tortoises !!! Mind boggles

Thanks in advance!

It's not supposed to be 'cogimos' is it? What's the whole sentence?

To talk to someone away from others, like an aside. There isn't a direct equivalent I know of.

Ok, in that case it is definitely meant to be "cogimos", meaning "we caught".

I would put thirty-four pence on it, which is all I have in my wallet. I am that confident. smile
