Betfair - anyone else had an email?

We would like to apologise for sending you that email. The email was sent to you as a result of an error.

Betfair has strict procedures in place to ensure that emails are not sent to certain customers. Unfortunately, on this occasion, there appears to have been a problem. We have launched a full investigation to identify what went wrong and we will ensure that it does not happen again.

I feel like I should be saying something about spoons or knives at the moment.

I wasn't going to complain about an email out of the blue to remind me I had money I'd forgotten about. No wonder they're not happy about it.

I've had them too, in fact twice yesterday I got one to say I had money in my account.

yeh i got it,said i had 13.26 in my account,i looked and there was,spent it in 4 minutes and lsot it all,then got this one today saying it was sent out in erroR

Got one yesterday saying I hadn't visited in a while and had £14 still left. Logged in and there was nowt in there, just as I'd left it. Bit of a dissappointment!

Obviously recieved the correction email today as well. Wonder how it happened?
