I expect this will be moved, but does anyone want a tv. My folks are getting a new one tomorrow & need rid of the old one. prob about 10 years old 22" works fine. It goes to the tip next week unless anyone wants it. Thought about giving it to the local Lions Club but I don't think they take electricals.. H&S & all that bowlocks.
It will have to be collected from Fleet Hants
Let me know on here or p.m. me

Instead of skipping it can you not give it to a charity shop?

Good luck with giving away an old telly.

I couldn't give away a perfect 10 year old sony 29" telly.

Most tips have special containers full off old tellys.

Especially if it's not widescreen, it's worth £0.

What they said - Freecycle or Gumtree are your best bets.

I know it's not worth anything, but as I said I'll take it to the heart foundation,
If someone wants it they are welcome to it

I'd second Freecycle or Freegle, TVs seem to go easily on there and it gets collected.

Charity shops won't take electrical goods. Probably H and S related. In the past when I've wanted to give stuff away, I've put it outside the house with a note saying free on it.

Oh goody I expect to see it dumped out the back on Tuesday morning

Fecking shop is the bane of my life always dumping all their st over our access then looking at you like you are the local mong when you tell them to shift it

Don't even start me on the thick fecking tts who work there and think it is fine to smash all the old crap furniture up and leave all the screws scattered about so we all end up with them in our tyres

Tirade over smile

In fairness see if you can recycle it as old TVs don't seem to sell and there is always a few they have left out to be shipped to the dump.

I've always stuck a note on saying "For Sale - £10, call at Number 23". You will never get anyone knock on the door, but it will be gone in half the time!
