Disowned my kids.
Discussion
Thanks to some numpty sliding on a wee bit of slush last month, my E36 Beemer 323i SE is at the body shop today.
Their insurance company said that I could have an equivalent hire car, meaning a 4 door saloon like a Mondeo??, so this morning I took delivery of a 2 door Astra 1.6???
There has been so much mucking about with the insurance company and the fact that I don't really need a car this week, plus the assistant manager of Enterprise Car Hire was stunning
,so I accepted this FWD, ludicrously styled, under-powered piece of crap.
BUT when I picked the kids up from school they were completely blown away by the car and absolutely loved it. They were so disappointed when they found out that I would only have it for a few days.
So the secret is out, they are obviously not my kids
BTW the lady from Enterprise is most definitely the One. Very attractive, sporty, easy to get on with, loves cars and also likes Air Crash Investigations
All this in a 5 min drive to her office.
Bad news is that she was about half my age, has a boyfriend with a great job, and I'm not exactly Brad Pitt.

Third Party's insurance not mine. I only have TFT on mine but I was claiming directly from the girl who ran into my car.
I could rant and rave at them but it's a call centre and it's racked up a few quid on my mobile already due to their incompetence.
I know! I should have got an Accident Management Co involved.

A mate of mine had his E36 323 Coupe dinged and he was handed a brand spanking new 325i Coupe E92. With the full MSport kit on it too.
