Recently had to take my sounddock into my local shop to get fixed, had it a good few years and it gets abused, so no real surprise that something had broken.

When I took it in was served by a lovely girl, who was very helpful, informed me of costs etc.... I even commented to my brother what good service I had received when I got back.

to cut a long story short, it still did not work when I got it back (after paying £60ish) phoned the same girl up and she apologized for the inconvenience and posted me out a free power lead (hoping this would fix the problem) and hay presto the tunes are blasting out again.

My question is does anyone have the e-mail of someone fairly high up so I can drop them a line thanking them for the excellent service I received. It happens so infrequently these days that when someone goes out of their way to help it really stands out.

Wouldn't good service have involved them testing it before sending it back to you?

She was quite cute, but honestly not the driving force, i work myself in retail and i am constnatly trying to give 100% good service so i always notice it.

More likely to offer her a job than ask her out on a date lol

I may have read this wrong, but does that mean you effectively paid £60 for a power lead?

Is it really thin and weedy, and you plug it into a separate black box to make it work properly?

It'll be rubbish if it's not one of these VFM items:

Ahhh ok, that makes sense. Shame they didn't test it with your lead before returning. She must be a stunner for you to be that happy wink

Thank God for that being as I need one of these after the bloody cat chewed through it irked

And my blue tooth charger

And the laptop mouse

And the mobile charger

And a set of headphones

And lastly, through the cable that goes from the lounge out to the front garden, where it used to power (believe it or not) an ultrasonic cat scarer!

I think the other items were just cover for this one!
