A good covering and coming down fast in Shropshire. Bloody annoying, I'd organised a drive into Wales today but I can't see it going ahead in this weather

I think this is the first time I have ever thought of the words snow and hammering in a sentence together.

The one thing snow can definitely not do is hammer.

depends on the type of snow!

Which I used to think was just a British Rail excuse, but am now convinced that there are several types. Whilst I'd agree 'hammering down' and 'snow' don't go together, some snow I've experienced recently is far from 'light and fluffy'! For instance about a week ago it would best be described as something like being sand blasted... not fun.
