...why, Travelodge Bedford of course!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Valentines-Weekend-at-Travel...

Apparently the seller can no longer go due to ill health. I'm guessing a smack in the chops.

Hardly Bedford, that's on the A1 at Sandy about 15 miles East of Bedford!

I was about to bid until I saw "no breakfast". Humm, I'm stumped.

Is a 2 mile walk to the local petrol station for a Ginster's acceptable on Valentines morning?

I wouldn't even take a streetwalker to Travelodge. Some people have no standards.

Just a warning. Same things happens at the Hotel I work at.

You pay the buyer however much for the "cheap" hotel room. At places such as Premier Inn the room is payment on arrival. Some people turn up having paid £11 for a £50 room and then realise they will actually end up paying £61 because the seller has not actually paid but just changed your details.

For the cheaper room rates it is pay in advance and no refunds, same with Ibis hotels etc.

Lol, it is from experience, but because I work at one of the Cheap(er) Hotels (not Travelodge though!)

Places like Premier Inn do not take the money in advance, it is payment on arrival even with the £29 a night rooms, however you can not cancel the room and if you do not turn up then are still charged (to the CC details given...or that it has been changed to)
